One of the primary ways to learn more about the Christian faith and to be part of a small, caring community of Christians is by being an active part of Sunday School. |  | CONFIRMATION
We offer special classes for students that integrate various aspects of discipleship with the hope that the students will confess Jesus Christ as their own Lord and Savior, claim for themselves baptismal vows, and take membership vows in the church. |

Through study we grow in our relationship to God and understand more clearly how to walk faithfully as a disciple of Jesus Christ. First United Methodist Church has a number of long and short term studies so that no matter where you are in your faith journey you can learn and grow. |  | CHILDREN
We strongly believe that children are a vital part of God's Kingdom - not merely as young people to be taught so that they can lead the church in the future, but as vital participants in God's ministry today. |

Each Sunday morning all Junior High and Senior High youth gather together for a time of fellowship and singing and then divide into smaller age groups for bible study. |  | WESLEY GROUPS
Wesley Groups have been a source of renewal and transformation in the life of First Church. They have proven to be one of the most meaningful additions to the life of First United Methodist Church in recent years. |
