First United Methodist Church is in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. Located next to the interstate on the corner of North and East Boulevards, the church is easy to get to from any area in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes.

Parking is available on East Boulevard and to the rear of the church on America Street. Those with mobility problems, but who can walk short distances, can park in the East Boulevard lot. Those who are in wheelchairs can park in the America Street parking lot. There is a covered entrance for unloading passengers on America Street. Sunday parking also includes areas underneath the interstate and in the Post Office parking lot, across North Boulevard.

The ministry of hospitality is growing at First Church. Golf carts are patrolling the parking lots on Sunday morning to transport you to the doors of the church. It’s fun and a great way to meet other church members. Jump on a cart after parking your car and enjoy the ride! The golf carts are now available to everyone who wants a ride.
