The Chancel Choir is at the very heart of the music ministry of First United Methodist. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening (Basement/Lower Level L05) from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and participates at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service. This non-auditioned choir welcomes all who love to sing and who will commit to attend Wednesday rehearsals and Sunday worship. Each spring the Chancel Choir and orchestra perform choral works as part of the Music Shelters the Soul Concert Series. New members are always welcome. Child care is provided for all rehearsals.

The Folk Choir is the newest choral ensemble at First United Methodist. The choir rehearses Sunday evening at 6:45-7:30 p.m. (Lower Level L05) and sings a wide range of music from traditional, gospel, to contemporary/folk styles of music. Child care is provided for all rehearsals.
