Mission FocusLove Your Neighbor Van

This December, we invite you to participate in a special offering to support the launch of the Love Your Neighbor van, a new ministry of First United Methodist Church. Starting in January, this van will deliver food, supplies, and compassion to Baton Rouge’s homeless community, sharing the love of Christ with those in need.

In a city where over 1,000 people face homelessness, this ministry aims to do more than provide relief—it seeks to foster dignity, connection, and hope. Inspired by the church’s commitment to “Love3” (love God, love neighbor, and love self), the Love Your Neighbor van will bring faith into action.

Your generosity will ensure this vital mission can make a lasting impact. Please prayerfully consider giving to this special offering throughout December and culminating on Christmas Eve. Together, we can share Christ’s love and transform lives in Baton Rouge.
