When you are in pain, it is hard to focus on anything else. Whether you have a conflict in your marriage, an addiction, or a death in your family, life can become overwhelming very quickly. When you need assistance, we are here for you.

Providing Care and Support

While life is a beautiful gift, we also recognize that our lives, relationships, and community are full of broken places. We are a church that believes the love of Jesus Christ is the remedy we all need. As we celebrate and share Christ’s love we will see individual hearts and lives healed, relationships restored and mended, and our community becomes a healthier and happier place for all to live.

First United Methodist Church is committed to caring and uplifting our church family. We provide for others, both within the church and from a community outreach perspective.

For Pastoral Care emergencies after hours, call the church office (225) 383-4777 and when prompted, press #4.
