Lent is the 40 days (not including Sundays) from Ash Wednesday to the Saturday before Easter. It’s a time for personal reflection and purposeful action that prepares our hearts and minds for Holy Week and Easter. Lent is an opportunity to go deeper with God!

Lent 2024

This year during Lent, we are asking our congregation to do three things:

1) Commit to weekly worship and class participation.

2) Reflect on and renew the practices that strengthen your connection to Christ and the Church.

3) Complete and turn in a personal Discipleship Covenant in worship. This Covenant will be a way to live into the practices listed below.

Email Pattye Hewitt at phewitt@firstmethodist.org to sign up.
