Do you place limitations on God; on who God is and what God can do? Luke 1:26-38 highlights a doctrine of the Church known as the “virgin birth” which asserts that Jesus was not conceived through normal human means. This doctrine strains the thinking of modern people, many of whom reject it as unscientific and unnecessary. But is it? We’ll explore why the virgin birth is important and what it tells us about who Jesus is and what is possible with God. Our scripture reading comes from Luke 1:26-38.
