Childcare is provided for all services except the Easter Sunrise Service. More details below.
We love and encourage children to attend service with their parents. Your wiggly, squiggly, boisterous, talkative, curious (and even crying) children are always welcome! We also understand if you need “grown-up” time during worship. See the options below for children on Sunday morning. (See more details below)

Maundy Thursday – April 18, 2019
7:00 PM Maundy Thursday Service in the Sanctuary

Private meditation using the Way of the Cross Prayer Markers in Aldrich Chapel from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The 7:00 p.m. service in the sanctuary will commemorate the foot washing and last supper Jesus shared with his disciples before his arrest and trial. The service concludes with the stripping of the altar.


Good Friday – April 19, 2019
12:00 PM service in the sanctuary commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. A guided outdoor walk using The Way of the Cross Prayer Markers will follow the service. Meet at the front steps of the sanctuary.

6:30 PM America Street (contemporary) Service will commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.


EASTER SUNDAY – April 21, 2019
6:30 AM Sunrise Easter Service at the North Boulevard Town Square (222 North Blvd.) led by the Youth Department. Following the sunrise service you are invited to enjoy Easter breakfast with us in the gym at FUMC.

8:30 and 11:00 AM | Sanctuary worship services | We proclaim, “Christ Is Risen” through word and music. The Chancel Choir and Festival Brass will participate in each Sanctuary service.

9:45 AM America Street worship service located on the third floor of the Youth Building.  This contemporary worship experience will include a celebration of Christ’s resurrection through word and music led by the America Street Worship Band.


NURSERY CARE AVAILABLE:
Our church nursery is available for infants 6 weeks through Kindergarten for all of the services listed above, except the Easter Sunrise Service.
Infants are welcome in the church nursery as soon as your pediatrician gives his/her approval. This is usually after 6 weeks and the first round of Polio DPT shots are completed. Please do not leave your child if they have the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Heavy nasal discharge
  • Vomiting or Diarrhea
  • Contagious rash
