The prevalence of tragic current events can leave emotions high, hearts heavy, and souls discouraged. What is a Christian to do in the face of evil? In the Gospel reading from Luke 13, Jesus heals a woman bound by evil. The relationship between law and gospel will be explored as we look to follow Jesus’ greatest commandment of Love. Through our incorporation into the Body of Christ, we have a role to play in healing today. When the opportunity to heal walks by, will we take it? This sermon encourages the Body of Christ with stories of hope even amid trial and embolden the Body of Christ to bring healing where there is hurt.
